The Inc. 5000 represents the most successful independent businesses in the country, which is why making the list is such a widely sought-after goal for growing companies. Microsoft, Dell, Intuit, LinkedIn, Yelp, and Zillow are among the household names that first gained national exposure as Inc. 5000 honorees.
